What We Do
2019 Animal Learning Lab

Did you know that opossums have super powers against snakes? Or that cows have panoramic vision? How about that dogs have THREE eyelids?

Kids between the ages of 6 and 11 years will learn all sorts of fun things about animals at our Animal Learning Lab summer camp, which takes place at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society's state-of-the-art Animal Care Center.

Animal Learning Lab (ALL) is a week-long, interactive camp where kids will learn about wildlife, farm animals, and service, working and companion animals. They will discover how different kinds of animals behave, where they live, and what kind of care they need. Every session features guest speakers, hands-on activities, and animal guests. Topics will vary between sessions.

Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm. Campers should bring their own mid-day snack or lunch. Sessions are limited to 10 campers.
