Are your pets all dressed up with nowhere to go?

Share a photo of them all dressed up for our virtual gala and you could win a beautiful Monica Rich Kosann locket customized with their picture inside. We’ve partnered with Frank Adams Jewelers for the "Wags to Riches Best Dressed Pets Contest" and we’re excited to see all the pets in their finery!

Here's how to enter:

• Between May 1 and May 10, 2021, simply post a picture of your pet dressed up for the gala on Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s Facebook page @mohawkhumane or your own Instagram page, along with your pet's name and the hashtag #2021WAGSTORICHES.
  
  Anything goes! Bowties, jewelry and tiaras are encouraged.
  
  For Facebook: Post your photo as a comment under any contest post. Feel free to add more detail about your pet or their attire, too.
  
  For Instagram: Post a photo in your feed along with whatever you'd like to share about your fancy friend. Note: if your page is set to "private" we won't be able to find it using the hashtag. (So Facebook may be the better option.)

• One pet will be selected at random to receive a beautiful Monica Rich Kosann locket that can be customized with one or two pets' images inside, donated by our friends at Frank Adams Jewelers. (Value $395)
  
  Winner will be announced during our Benson's Pet Centers' “There’s No Place Like Home” Virtual Gala on Saturday, May 15, live on Facebook @mohawkhumane at 6 pm. Winner will also be notified via Facebook or Instagram message, depending on how the entry was made.

• No purchase is necessary. Your entry grants permission to use your pet’s photo for promotional purposes. One entry per pet.

CONTEST RULES:

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Wags to Riches is open only to those who enter as outlined below. Employees of Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and Frank Adam Jewelers are not eligible to participate. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decision of Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and Frank Adams Jewelers as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Contest.

3. Contest Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on at 12:01 am EDT on Saturday, May 1 and ending on Sunday, May 9 at midnight EDT. All entries must be received by Sunday, May 9 at midnight EDT.

4. How to Enter: The Contest must be entered by submitting a photo via Facebook or Instagram @mohawkhumane, along with the name of the pet and the hashtag #202WAGSTORICHES. Pet must be pet dressed in some way for the gala. This could mean a bowtie or other clothing, jewelry or other accessories. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and Frank Adams Jewelers. A pet may be entered only once.

5. Prizes: The Winner of the Contest will be chosen at random. One Winner will receive a Monica Rich Kosann locket valued at $395. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and Frank Adams Jewelers to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
