Nancy Haynes, CCPDT-KA

Director of Behavior & Enrichment

With more than 17 years of experience here at MHHS, Nancy has been integral to the development of our rescue, foster and assessment programs. She teaches obedience training for shelter dogs and for the public, and is involved in all of the Society's cruelty investigation efforts. Her animal savvy is matched only by her compassion for every creature she encounters. As our Director of Behavior & Enrichment, her focus is on meeting the physical and psychological needs of the animals in our care every single day. We refer to those particularly challenging cases as "Nancy's Bad Nuggets." Her ability to transform the fearful, rambunctious and naughty into loving, secure, adoptable pets is amazing. Nancy is CPDT-KA certified, as well as a Certified Obedience Trainer through ABTA (Animal Behavior & Training Associates), now known as ABC (Animal Behavior College), she is certified in the ASPCA's SAFER (Safety Assessment for Evaluating Rehoming) Aggression Assessment, and she is CBCC-KA certified, a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine-Knowledge Based.
