Nancy Haynes, CCPDT-KA

Director of Behavior and Enrichment

With more than of a decade of experience here at MHHS, Nancy has been integral to the development of our rescue, foster and assessment programs. She teaches obedience training for shelter dogs and for the public, and is involved in all of the Society's cruelty investigation efforts. Her animal savvy is matched only by her compassion for every creature she encounters. As our Director of Behavior and Enrichment, her focus is on meeting the physical and psychological needs of the animals in our care every single day. We refer to those particularly challenging cases as "Nancy's Bad Nuggets." Her ability to transform the fearful, rambunctious and naughty into loving, secure, adoptable pets is amazing. Nancy is CCPDT-KA certified, as well as a Certified Obedience Trainer through ABTA (Animal Behavior & Training Associates), now known as ABC (Animal Behavior College), and is certified in the ASPCA's SAFER (Safety Assessment for Evaluating Rehoming) Aggression Assessment.
