Beeble
If anyone remembers the terribly shy beagle mix named Beeble, you will know how scared he was of everything. He wouldn't make a sound; we really thought he had no voice box. After about two months he finally barked. I think he finally realized he was staying here and this was his home. He is still very scared and it's so sad, but we are letting him go slow. He loves my husband, who is the only one he really trusts. If you sneeze, drop something or there is someone speaking loudly, he is scared to death. He must have been abused or treated badly. We love him just the same and see some progress. We aren't pushing him and hope someday he will come around. He follows my husband wherever he goes. He lets us know when he wants to go out, which is great. We walk him, never leave him out. When he does go for his walks he just wants to go back home. He is not comfortable with cars, kids or strangers...he just wants to be in the house. We love him and will be patient. Here are some photos of Beeble after we got him. Anyone who reads this, please adopt a pet -- they need so much love. We are blessed to have him. Thanks to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and Steve Caporizzo of Channel 10's Pet Connection!
