Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is happy to travel offsite and bring a tailored age-appropriate presentation to you! We will work to create an experience that best fits your group's needs, like meeting requirements for Scout badges. We also do school visits. The presentations will last about an hour.
Prices for offsite programs begin at $50 per group for the first hour, with $30 for each additional hour. Examples of the programs we offer are below and we are open to adapting the programs to fit your needs.

Available Programs
- Learning to Speak Dog
Participants will learn how to read dog body language, understand when it is appropriate to greet a dog and how to do so.
- Learning to Speak Cat
Participants will learn how to read cat body language, understand when it is appropriate to greet a cat and how to do so.
- Dog Care 101
Participants will learn about the Five Freedoms and understand the basics of humane dog care.
- Cat Care 101
Participants will learn about the Five Freedoms and understand the basics of humane cat care.
- Shelter Careers
Participants will learn about the history of the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society as well as the many different career paths available to someone who has a passion for animal welfare.
- Pet Care Badge
Participants will learn how to properly take care of pets and fulfill the requirements of a Girl Scout Pet Care badge.
- Animal Helpers Badge
Participants will learn about the many ways pets can benefit people and fulfill the requirements of a Girl Scout Animal Helpers badge.
