Kita

We adopted Kita about a month ago, several weeks after losing our nine-year-old cat to cancer. I was nervous about getting a new cat but was hopeful we would find the right pet.

Kita was very quiet at the Humane Society, but she was meowing up a storm during the car ride home. She loved exploring our house that first night. Within a few hours she was cuddling up with us and acting like she had been here her whole life.

She is a feisty little lady and loves to see how high she can jump and look for new hiding places around the house. She is also incredibly affectionate and sweet. She is, in a word, AWESOME.

We are so thankful to the staff for taking good care of Kita before she came to live with us. Can't imagine a sweeter pet!
