Niko and Charlie

Thank you, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, for bringing two very special boys into my life.

In the summer of 2011 I lost my very special dog, Bugsy, to cancer. He was 14 and I was absolutely heartbroken. I struggled for a few months until I started looking at your website and found Lincoln. He was the cutest thing and reminded me so much of my beloved Bugsy. I adopted him right away and named him Niko. He absolutely healed my heart and has brought so much joy to my life.

I had been wanting to adopt a brother for him, and it all sort of fell together in November when I met Moby. He was just as sweet as he could be and I fell in love again. He now goes by Charlie and he is just the sweetest dog! He has adjusted very well to his new family, as I think you will see from the attached pictures!

I hope you enjoy seeing these guys again, and know that I am forever indebted to you all at the Humane Society. For one thing, you have brought these wonderful boys to me, and second, I am so grateful they had you before they finally found me to take care of the rest. Thank you all!

PS: You may notice that no one stays skinny in our house! :-)
