Dixie and Midnight

Hey everyone, just thought I'd give you an update on Dixie (formerly Mandy) and Midnight. We adopted Dixie in August 2012 because the house needed a dog. She's perfect -- loves to go for long runs in the woods and take trips to the park to play with the other dogs. Her favorite activity is coming to work with me. She and my two kids are almost inseparable.

Then we felt that the house needed a friendly, loving kitty, so back to MHHS to meet and bring home Midnight. The two of them are now friends and they often cuddle together on my bed. Our friend adopted Lucy, the black and white pibble, and she is often a visitor and wonderful playmate of Dixie's.

Thanks for everything you do for these animals. I'm hoping to return to MHHS and find a more permanent playmate for Dixie -- she just loves having another dog around.
