Samantha and Abby

My husband and I adopted an orange girl, Samantha (formerly Angel), in August of 2009. We call her "the diva" because she loves having her belly rubbed and being the center of attention. We decided to give her a sister in March of 2010. We adopted Abby (formerly Nakoma) from Latham PetSmart. Abby was very tiny and timid at first due to a rough life as a stray, but over time she has become a very trusting and loving girl. The introduction was not easy at first, but Samantha warmed up to her new sister and now they are the best of friends. They love snuggling together in their cat beds, staring out the window at their favorite chipmunk, and chasing the cat laser.

Samantha and Abby are such an important part of our family. They have brought so much love to our home. We appreciate all MHHS does to find homes for loving and needy animals.
