Mr. Kitdee, Hector, GGMMolly
My name is Mr. Kitdee. I was adopted from the MHHS in October of 1987 by my furever Mom. She paid $7 for me and she got a free bag of kitty litter too. Oh Cat, I was a bargain! But you know what, I had the better end of that bargain..I lived almost 19 years with her! I started my life with my furever Mom at MHHS and I ended it there too, on January 27, 2006. I was old and it was time. The lady who helped me reach the Rainbow Bridge also helped my mom, because she was VERY sad.
My mom wanted to get two kitties after I had to leave her, "twins" as she called them. In May 2006, she went back to MHHS and found a buff/orange guy and a calico kitty (not related by blood). Honestly, they weren't the kitties she had in mind, but she wanted two kitties so bad after I left. She knew she wanted an orange guy and a girl kitty but at first look, she didn't want either. But the love happened very quickly for the kitties and Mom. And if I must purr myfurself, the kitties turned into some good looking cats.
My orange furbrother is named Hector and he is so much like me! Mom has even called him Kitdee on occasion. He loves her lap as much as I did and he is a big lovebug like I was too! My fursister is named Good Golly Miss Molly, Molly for short. She had a foster mom who took real good care of her before she was adopted by our mom. Molly also likes 'ghetti sauce as much as I did. Molly is sort of a snobby kitty. MOL (for those that don't know, that's "Meow Out Loud"). All in all, they make a purrfect family! They even go outside on a leash. I never got to do that, but it sure looks like they love the fresh air and Mom likes that they are safe in our yard.
I now sit on the mantel with Mom's favorite pictures of me (one is of my first day at my furever home), my collar, and a whisker too! I watch over all of them and I'm thankful for the life I had and the life my fursiblings and Mom are having now thanks to MHHS.
MHHS does great work and brings many families and kitties/doggies together for a lifetime of love and happiness. Adoption is a LIFETIME commitment.
Thanks for all you do, MHHS! Mr. Kitdee, Hector, GGMMolly and our Mom, Kellie Wellie
