Lucy

We love MHHS. This is the second dog we have adopted there and they are both keepers. Lucy's story is unique. Our last dog passed away in April. Since then, we have been looking to find another dog. My husband happened to go to the Humane Society and saw a man walking Lucy into the building. He said that the dog had been hanging around his house for a couple weeks but they couldn't keep her because they had their own dogs. He was turning her in for adoption. My husband thought she was adorable. The man told him that he would just give her to him but my husband was afraid that maybe somebody owned her and she got lost and didn't want to take someone else's dog...he wanted to give the owner time to retrieve her. He told the personnel he was interested in her in case no one claimed her. No one did and they called us and we both went to see her. The next day I came home and, to my surprise, there was Lucy sitting in my kitchen.

Lucy is adorable and a wonderful pet. We love her! Thanks again for giving us another wonderful pet!
