Ennis

Meet Ennis, Darby and Duncan. We brought Ennis and Duncan (we're pretty sure they're littermates) home from MHHS after our sweet little Henry-cat (also from MHHS) passed away. We never thought we'd be happy with another cat after losing our Henry, but Ennis and Duncan have sure filled our lives up with love and laughs. Duncan hunted all winter long and brought MANY of his kills (large dead leaves) inside to share with us.

A few months after we adopted Ennis and Duncan, we adopted Darby from MHHS. Darby was a scared, skinny little dog with unique markings and just a glimmer of personality behind her shyness. After spending a couple weeks adjusting to each other, Ennis, Darby, and Duncan have become fast friends. They sleep together, eat together (although we keep trying to convince the cats they have their own food) and play together. Darby thinks it's great fun to grab Duncan by the ear and drag him across the wood floor. Seems like Duncan likes it too! Ennis is more of a lover and likes to snuggle up in a nice warm pile of critters and purr the afternoon away.

The three critters like going outside and chasing each other through the woods up and down the hill. Sometimes the cats even chase the dog! We love our snuggle critters so much and thank MHHS for making them available to our family!
