Lily

Hello!

I just wanted to thank Michelle again for taking such good care of Lily (previously Cagney) while she was with her! She is growing fast and learning new things every day. I took these pictures this morning while Bob and Lily were resting in their favorite place: our bed! She's almost 30 pounds already. She is short but solid. She can still walk right under Bob! That makes it easier for her to steal his toys or nibble on his legs. She is doing really well in her puppy class and she has received compliments from the trainer about what a good girl she is. She gets along really well with all the other puppies in her class too. Her whole body wiggles when she is happy to see you.

Lily has also been really great for Bob too. He used to get overexcited or aggressive with other dogs. Lily is rubbing off on him though, and he was a different dog when one of our friends brought his dog over to visit. He was very relaxed and playful! It was incredible to see.

Everyone in the family loves Lily! She is quite the snuggler and enjoys "chair time" with Daddy. They both lounge in the recliner while watching TV at the end of the day.

I want to sincerely thank Michelle, and all of the other volunteers and shelter staff, for the time and energy they put into taking care of all the animals before they find their forever homes. It really makes a difference! Thank you!!!
