This fragile kitten was brought in as a stray at about three weeks old ... far too young to be separated from her mother. She had a broken femur and was VERY hungry. Our veterinary team carefully placed a cast on her tiny leg, then provided her with a nutritious meal and pain medication. She was placed in a loving foster home on restricted activity for about eight weeks. Imagine trying to manage this with a rambunctious growing kitten!

Her foster mom said, "Once Patience got out of the cast, you'd never guess she'd had an injury. She climbed everything and outran her foster brother during playtime." Eventually the two foster siblings — whom circumstance had brought together — were adopted by the same family. They're doing great!
