Lexi

We went to MHHS looking for a new addition to our family after we lost our beloved Ruby to cancer in March 2008. We were a little reluctant at first but started looking around to see what doggies were out there in need of a new home. I knew immediately when we came across the picture of Lexi that I just had to have her. So the following day I made my way down to the Humane Society, looking to bring her home. Sadly, we were turned away because we had a cat temporarily staying with us and Lexi was supposedly not good with cats. So with our hearts broken we left her at the shelter, but even after I left, I just couldn't stop thinking about her pretty little face. So I made other arrangements for the cat and made my way back to the shelter. Thankfully, Lexi was still there! We adopted her right away and brought her to her new home and family.

Lexi has been a wonderful addition to our family and made herself right at home. She's very playful and obedient. She learns very easily and loves being the center of attention. She has brought joy to our family and house. It feels like she's been with us forever. She loves going for car rides and sleeping in the room with her new Mommy & Daddy.

We can't thank you enough for uniting Lexi with our family. She is a true beauty, that's why I couldn't resist buying her a princess outfit for her first Halloween with us. We are very happy she's part of our family.

PS: Lexi has even learned to make friends with some of our neighborhood cats! Lexi is loving of all animals and people.
