Nicky
I adopted Nicky (a/k/a Tiki) on July 3. I had been looking for a small dog for a couple of months through petfinder.com. One day there was a picture of a Jack Russell on the web site at the Humane Society. I decided to go and take a look. At the time, the Jack Russell was not available. As I went around the corner, there was a pen of three American Eskimo puppies. I asked if I could hold Tiki, one of the puppies. He was about 5 pounds at the time, and just curled up on to my shoulder. The people at the shelter were very helpful in getting me information on the American Eskimo breed. I was hooked as soon as Tiki curled up on my shoulder. After 40 minutes of bonding, we went home together.
He is a very happy puppy dog because he has a place where he can run, play, and just lie around under a tree, which is his favorite thing to do. Nicky is very kind, and gives many hugs and kisses. He has adapted very well to his surroundings. He is a wonderful companion. He likes to run errands with me, go to work with me, go on walks, play with other puppy dogs, and even go kayaking with me. Water is not his favorite thing, so he is comfortable to ride in the bulkhead. Nicky makes me smile every day.
Thank you for the wonderful services that you provide!
