Punchy

We walked in to the shelter expecting to get a dog, but none of the dogs were a great fit for our family. We always loved cats, and we had adopted a black cat from MHHS nine years ago. She was the absolute best, and we unfortunately lost her to cancer this past February. We weren't sure if we were ready for another cat, but our five-year-old son wanted to see them anyway.

We had looked at another black cat at the shelter, but she was not a good for us. Then we walked past Carver, and he rolled over onto his back for us looking for a scratch. We took him to a room to play and that was it! He came home with us!

Our son changed him name to Punchy and it is quite fitting. He is the king of the house. He loves to play with his toys and relax on the couch with the family. He is the sweetest guy, and we just love him. He knows when it's bedtime and cozies up with us. We are so lucky to have him!
