On Saturday night, March 29, Schenectady Animal Control seized a stray dog in very bad condition. We have named her Lavender and she is now in our care. This sweet girl has suffered so much. She is missing an ear, has wounds to her face and head, and fractured teeth, among other injuries. Incredibly, though, as our veterinary staff has been providing care for her, Lavender has been friendly, gentle, and loving. She has a long way to go, but we will do everything we can to ensure this beautiful girl gets the care she needs and can go on to live a happy and loved life. Your gift will go directly to our Animal Cruelty Fund, helping support care and our push for justice for Lavender and other animals like her. Thank you for your generous support.
