Dear Happy Tails,

My husband and I adopted Payton, now Klaus, just over a week ago. When we arrived at the shelter we had no idea we'd be leaving with a three-month-old puppy! Rescued from a bad situation in Troy, Klaus is now in his forever home back in the Collar City. This past week has been a learning experience for all of us - and we cannot express how effortlessly this little green-eyed guy stole our hearts. He is so gentle and playful, and LOVES to cuddle! He was almost totally housebroken by his second day and could "sit" by his third. Just yesterday he mastered "shake" and we can't wait to teach him more! I understand now that these creatures are so much more than dogs - he is totally a member of our family and makes these two humans SO happy.

Thank you to everyone at MHHS for taking such good care of him. We feel so lucky.
