Timon

My name is Timon and I was adopted by a couple on January 24, 2007. They came to see me on 1/23/07 but the shelter was closing before they finally decided that I was the kitty they wanted. So the very next day they showed up first thing in the morning to pick me up. When I got home they opened my carrier and I stayed in it for about half an hour. I finally got up the guts to exit my cage and I walked into the closest bedroom I could find. The next morning when they woke up to go to work they fed me and I went into the kitchen and sat there and ate. By the time they came home I was out and about visiting with just about everyone. They were all amazed that I was warming up to everyone so fast.

My owner's chest is my favorite spot to lay and she doesn't mind one bit. I think she actually enjoys having me so close. The first night I was home they brought me some catnip mice. Oh my goodness, it was great. I ran around the house and chased them down like they were real mice. They are the best toys in the world besides string and shoelaces.

I'm so happy where I am now and I don't have any fears because these people love me so much. I'm very happy in my new home. I'm enjoying every day that I'm here and finding new things to do. I can't wait to see what else I can find. I just hope that more cats and dogs can have the same outcome that I had.
