Pearl

After our dear 15-year-old Bassett Hound passed, our family had figured we would be happy with our furry feline friends and not take on the burden of another dog. That was, of course, until we stopped into the MHHS one Saturday to "just take a look."

To this day, we aren't sure if we picked Pearl or she picked us. Either way, we could not have imagined how much we love this little girl or the way she expressed that love back to us. She is a bundle of energy - at least 95% more than a Bassett - and loves to cuddle up with her dad, run and jump for treats and torment her kitty brother (also from MHHS).

Thank you for bringing us all together.
