Max

I adopted Max (formerly Maverick) last October. I didn't plan on taking a dog home that day, but I fell in love with my sweet puppy and couldn't stand to think I'd miss my chance! I adopted him on the spot and have been happy ever since. Max has to be the sweetest dog I have ever met in my entire life. When I first brought him home he was very timid and wouldn't even climb the stairs to my apartment. After the first few days of carrying him up and down the stairs he finally mustered up the courage to try them himself. Ever since then he's flown up and down those stairs. Max is known by every person on our block and especially every dog owner. Neighbors are constantly coming over asking if Max can go to the park to play with their dog because, whether or not their dog is young or old, Max seems to compliment their personality with his own. Max has his own personality and is a very quirky pup. He enjoys herding random items in my apartment and occasionally children in the park (he doesn't nip, just runs circles around them), eating peanut butter with me, tucking himself into my bed and sitting on my lounge chair on my back porch. He's a great dog and companion.
