Gracie

My husband went to the shelter about a week ago looking for a cat to adopt. He looked around for about 45 minutes and when he came across Xanadu [now Gracie] he stopped looking; he fell in love with her right away. She was so personable and extra cuddly. He brought her home right away and kept her in one of our bedrooms so she could spend some time getting used to her new surroundings. We also have a black lab, so we wanted to take some time for them to adapt to one another. As soon as we introduced her to her new brother, Ralph (our dog), it was as if they had lived together for years! Every time Ralph walks by, Gracie jumps up on her back legs and puts her paws on Ralph. She always walks up to him and smells him - trying to get closer to him every day. We just love Gracie so much. She is such a good girl! We are lucky she found us!
