Dear Happy Tails,

My husband and I adopted our sweet girl Zuul (formerly Mallory) from Mohawk Hudson Humane Society one year ago. The first day we visited the shelter she was not yet available for adoption. Because of this we initially overlooked her, but she came to the front of the kennel when we passed by. I knelt in front of her and she licked my hand through the gate. It was love! We went home and watched the MHHS website. Two days later, her picture popped up and we returned to meet her and bring her home. She settled into her new life with us (and two cat siblings!) right away. She's extremely smart and so full of love. She can be skittish around strangers but she charms everyone she meets. We adore her and are so happy we found her and can give her the forever home she deserves. Thank you to MHHS for bringing her into our lives!
