Winston

Hello,

We just wanted to share an update on how Winston is acclimating to his forever home. We adopted Winston on December 14, 2011, so he has been with us for a little over four months now, and we can't imagine life without him! His favorite activity is going disc-golfing with us. He doesn't care about the discs, but he loves nothing more than romping and sniffing his way through the woods.

The only thing he loves more than the woods is his new "mom," my wife Kim. He absolutely loves her to death! We kid that he tries to get so close to her that if he were any closer he would be in her skin with her. He can't be too close to her! He loves me and our son too, but not like he loves her. It's funny, by about 11:00 every night, if she hasn't gone to bed yet, he gets upset and whines until she goes to bed so he can go lay in his bed on the floor next to her.

We actually were kidding tonight, we're sure Winston is thinking "They think I am their dog, but really, they are MY PEOPLE! You haven't seen me making their meals or cleaning up their poop!" He is a great dog, and such a lover. We have two cats, and they get along fine. Winston is 60+ pounds and not overly graceful, and he often tries to "snuggle" with the cats by walking over to them and flopping near/on them. Unfortunately this scares the cats and they run away, but it is awfully cute to watch.

I have included a few pics too.

Thanks, Brad
