Vegas

My fiancee, Jimmy, and I had a two-year-old tortie named Tulip. She was an only cat and we wanted to get her a friend to play with so they could keep each other company while we are at work. We went to Petco and fell in love with a little orange boy. Adoptions were already over for the day, so we went back the next morning to adopt him. It just happened to be my birthday. We named him Vegas (he was formerly Heathcliff).

We were nervous about how Tulip would react because she is a true tortie, with plenty of "tortitude." We kept them separate at first, but ended up speeding up the introduction process because they took to each other so well.

Four months later, they are inseparable. They are best friends and they love each other very much. They sleep together, groom each other, play together, and are constantly wrestling and chasing each other around the house. We couldn't be happier that we adopted a second fur baby and we are so glad that it all worked out so perfectly!
