Sophia and Olivia
I had 3 cats for almost 12 years (one of which was adopted 11 years ago from MHHS after I stopped by to make a food donation and walked out with a new kitty!), then one passed away unexpectedly. I vowed to never have 3 cats again, but the house seemed oddly empty and anyone reading this site knows how that goes. One day in PetSmart, I noticed the cutest little girl in a cage offered by a rescue organization. Of course I had to adopt her. Olivia is the sweetest kitty, but my 12-year-old senior cats wanted nothing to do with a kitten so I worried about her being "alone." Needless to say, one Saturday morning I decided to check out MHHS to look for a pal for Olivia. The cutest kitties were on the website and I just had to meet them in person. Lo and behold, quietly in the corner of one of the cages with her very active brothers was Athena, now Sophia. She and I instantly bonded and, as you can see by the pictures, she and Olivia are the best of pals too! She is the most loving little girl and is very spoiled and happy in her new home. I thank MHHS for your amazing staff and all of the wonderful work you do helping homeless kitties (and doggies) find loving homes.
