Simba and Nala

In July of 2012 we decided we wanted to get a cat for our home. At PetSmart in Latham we found two kittens that were two months old, named Huck and Berry. Only wanting one cat, it became a tough decision: break up a brother and sister at two months old or take both. Well, we ended up taking both!

It quickly became clear that it was the right decision; they are inseparable. Huck was renamed to Simba and Berry was renamed to Nala. (I'm a Lion King fan, I admit it.) Simba has short hair and Nala has long hair and is a rare cat. I have been told that only 1 out of 20-25 orange cats are female.

They are now a year old and we are so glad to have both of them!
