On October 10, 2010, after several trips to the shelter to find the perfect cat, I adopted Arvelle. I was looking for a mouser for our hardware store. We have a rather large birdseed section and the mice were making a mess of it. Arvelle's chart said she was a mouser and she was fairly friendly...perfect. The first glich in the store cat plan was when I picked up my teenage son, who informed me he "always wanted a cat." Needless to say, Arvelle (now Sasha - renamed by the same teenage son) never made it to the store. She has turned out to be an awesome mouser and a wonderful addition to our family.
