Rocky and Bear

We adopted Rocky at the PetSmart adoption center in North Greenbush on November 17th. We just went there to look and it was about 4:30 pm. Rocky caught our eye from the second we saw him. We saw his little mouth meowing but could not hear him through the glass, and he would bump his head up against the partition thinking we could pet him. I walked over to the adoption time sheet and saw that no one would be there until 6:00 pm. We left the store and my heart hurt, so we decided to turn around and I guarded the door to the adoption center for an hour until adoption staff got there. The rest is history.

After we adopted Rocky we had already planned on getting him a brother. We hesitated at first, only having had Rocky for a week, thinking he should have some time to adjust. Well...a week later we were driving around contemplating on going to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. I said again, let's just go look. OK! We walked in and there he was, a tiny fur ball, rubbing his head against the cage for love and purring like crazy. It was Bear. I said, this is it, we are leaving with this little guy. We were also told he was originally with his sister, who was adopted the night before.

Rocky and Bear love each other to death. They are both a little over two months old and are spoiled rotten!
