Pongo

We adopted Pongo on June 3, 2011. He is a five-year-old English Setter who was found as a stray. He came to our home with me and my three boys, ages 5, 8, and 10. He is our first dog ever and we were all a little nervous (including Pongo). After two weeks, none of us could imagine life without him. He has become the love of our lives! He is sweet, loving, well behaved and affectionate. He gets along with our 17-year-old cat, Monty, and with other dogs.

Pongo instantly wins over the heart of anyone who meets him. He loves to be outside and watch the boys play. He loves people and is happy to go for walks, although he pulls hard on the leash. He wants to run! We plan on taking him to classes to learn to be a better walker. He got a clean bill of health from the vet and had his first grooming this weekend.

We can't imagine a more perfect fit for our family. Pongo has made us all so happy and we are so grateful that we found him. Thank you!
