Perky

This is my beautiful Perky. After my mom died, my brother convinced me what I needed was a pet to care for and talk to. So, in early July 2010, we came to your shelter. I wanted to find a cat that wanted ME, and after checking out all the cats in the cages, the woman suggested I try the Community Room. I went in and sat down and a few cats checked me out and wandered away, and then this little black cat came over and claimed me for her own. She has made such a difference in my life. I don't come home to an empty house anymore! Her name when I adopted her was Tomato, but Perky really suits her personality. And she has really perked up my life, too. The vet said she was in perfect health, which was a real plus.
