Minnie

Minnie has been with us since January and has really come out of her shell. When she first arrived she was shy but playful with her new friend Bubba. Since then she and Bubba have gotten very close; they play and wrestle like puppies. Minnie now greets our neighbors and family right away and seems to like new people, especially kids. She likes car rides and her long walks in the neighborhood (sometimes a nice lady even brings her and Bubba a cookie!). She is always on the lookout for cats or bunnies to chase, and if they're not available, a good game of chase with Bubba will do. She doesn't like storms or fireworks and though she has built a nest in the basement for scary times, she will come up when it's all clear for a snack or two. She weighs nearly 60 pounds and is a terrific eater, her coat is shiny and she loves to be groomed. She even had her nails painted! She is a wonderful addition to our family and a great friend to Bubba.
