Minne and Tonka

I adopted Sasha and Sonya from Petsmart in Latham in March 2011. Being a big Minnesota Twins fan, I changed their names to Minne Kubel and Tonka Thome, or Minne and Tonka for short. These two sisters joined another cat, Katona, who was in need of a playmate.

I fell in love with Minne and Tonka as soon as I saw them in their cage. They both purr the second you look at them, then roll over and meow until you pet them. Tonka, the solid orange one, follows me around everywhere and she even sucks her thumb when sleeping! Minne spends most of her day chasing bugs and watching chipmunks on the other side of the window.

I'm so glad I was able to bring these two lovable animals into my home.
