McCoy

We adopted McCoy (once upon a time "Mickey") from the shelter a little over a month ago, and we can't believe how quickly and perfectly he has fit into our family. We lost our dog of 8 years very unexpectedly earlier this summer and had no expectation of finding another dog who could fill the hole in our family...until we found McCoy, who just seemed to be perfect for us. It turns out he is! He is amazing with our two small children, our resident cats and the craziness of a busy household. He loves taking walks in the woods with us, chasing butterflies, chewing on sticks and napping in the sun the rest of the time. He couldn't be happier, and honestly, neither could we.

Thank you all for not only making our experience such a wonderful one, but for everything you do for all the dogs, cats and assorted animals you care for until they find their own perfect families. And McCoy says thank you too!
