Marley

I had originally come to your facility to look at a different cat, only to find out she had been adopted the evening before. After looking at others I approached this shy little girl and spent some time with her. I adopted Marley (you knew her as Mumsy) on January 12th. She had been spayed the day before and was still very engorged with milk from nursing her litter. She made the trek to her new home like a pro! She was cautious at first, but moved right in with great enthusiasm. She has adapted very well and has taken over my home and heart. She is a sweet girl with very loud purrs and tiny chatters that she shares with me. She loves ALL of her kitty toys! Her favorite thing to do is play fetch (yes, fetch!). She will play for hours on end, having the toy of her choice thrown down the hall to be brought back and thrown again.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to adopt this very loving and playful little girl. I look forward to having her in my life for a very long time!

I wanted to send some updated photos of Marley. I have had her for nearly two years (already!). She has been an absolute joy to have.

In May of 2008 we moved from Dutchess County to Westchester County and Marley was a trooper - she adapted well to her new surroundings and enjoys her new house. We are on the 4th floor and she really enjoys her birds-eye view over her new neighborhood. Her favorite things to watch are fireworks and thunderstorms!

I have always had animals in my life and I really have to admit Marley is the first with such an expressive little face and quirky personality - I have to tell you, she makes me laugh! No matter what kind of day I've had, it's wonderful to come home to a bright, happy little face that is always happy to see me.

Thank you again for taking such great care of Marley when you had her. She is certainly well taken care of and happy in her new home (and all its adventures).
