Izzy
Hi -- it's me, Izzy! You used to know me as Tapioca -- the shy, scared little Italian Greyhound mix that trembled in the back of my cage at the shelter. Well, not anymore! The family who adopted me has been really patient and showed me that it's okay to trust people. Plus my doggie sister Megan is AWESOME! She is a retired rescued greyhound and is really big, but she's been super patient with me and showed me how cool it is to live with a family.
I have three human kids to keep me company and they give me lots of love and kisses, and tell me I'm such a good girl all the time. (I'm not sure Mom and Dad agree with that one!) I have a huge backyard to play in, but sometimes I get into a little mischief. I love to dig, dig, dig and I learned this morning how to escape from under the fence! My human mom didn't seem very pleased and my human dad had to come outside and put these big concrete bricks over my escape hole. They both mumbled something about "It's a good thing she's so cute." Hmm, I'm not sure what that means, but I guess I'll just need to work on finding a new spot to escape. I need more time to completely explore the neighbor's yard.
Okay, I think I see a shoe that someone left out that needs a good chewing...gotta go! Thanks, Mohawk Humane Society, for helping me find this great new home!
