Hooch

I first saw Murph at your shelter on Jan. 6, 2006. His new name is Hooch. He is a Bull Mastiff mix. He was a bit boney when we saw him, but really cute and very friendly to me. The next day I took my two teenagers to see him and I was shocked that he wasn't in the cage I first saw him in. I was afraid he had been adopted, then I spotted him.

My kids loved him. Now that we have him and he has us, he is such a big part of our family. He is funny, loves to play, loves to go for walks and rides in my car. He is with me all the time. The kids love him and always look forward to coming home to him. He brought so much laughter, fun and love into our home. I can't believe we survived without him.

Hooch was 60 pounds when we got him, now he is 110 pounds. He is beautiful; we get compliments everywhere he goes. He loves to sit on laps and has to be touching or hugging us all the time. He's like a big teddy bear. He was a stray, running around the streets of Albany when he was brought to the shelter.

Hooch also loves to be comfortable. As you can see in one of the photos, my neighbors threw out a love seat, I had him outside on a lead and the next thing we knew, he was sitting on the love seat.

He is just one big clown and we love him dearly. Thanks to all the people at the shelter for all they do.
