We just wanted to let you know how our first night went with Albert. He is so adorable! He was wonderful with my son and he has totally bonded with Joe. He wouldn't let Joe out of his sight all night. Joe couldn't even go to the bathroom without Albert following him in there. He even gave up his toys to follow him to the door and wait for him to get back when he had to go to the car for something. It is so sweet.

I'll tell ya, Albert is such a good dog. He listens really well. He behaves and drops stuff he shouldn't have. He comes when called. He is some kind of dog! He doesn't even pull on the leash anymore when we take him out...outstanding! Thanks so much for giving us our baby!

PS: He had a bath and I think he thinks he died and went to heaven!

Update:

He is still so amazing. He gets more and more lovey everyday, and obedient (even better)! Here's a couple of pics of him after his bath and with his new favorite toy, that he now will let us play with too! When we got home from the shelter he would not answer to Albert. We called him and called him... nothing. So we decided to try different names. He wouldn't respond to anything. Finally, Joe said, "Harley," and Albert's ears went right up and turned towards Joe. He's been responding to that name ever since. Too funny...and he still follows Joe everywhere he goes!
