Gidget

Hi! I adopted Gidget last October, when I went into the Humane Society to look for a cat for my friend. I ended up going to look at the dogs, and when I saw Gidget I knew I had to have her. She is the best thing that has happened in my life; every day is a new experience with her.

Gidget enjoys walks along the Mohawk River and she loves to chase after anything that moves! My mom's dog, Roxy, who is a Jack Russell Terrier, is Gidget's best friend. Although they didn't get along at first, they are now inseparable.

Gidget has an interesting way of getting into extremely small places. She also loves to climb trees. This is no joke! She literally will jump up into the tree to try and catch a squirrel. She loves to cuddle in a whole lot of blankets, and since the day I got her she has always slept at the bottom of my bed -- she loves being underneath the covers at night!

I couldn't imagine my life without Gidget - it was truly fate that I found her!
