Cleo

Hi Folks,

You probably remember me -- my name was Violet (now Cleo) and my forever family adopted me on October 30, 2006. They saw my MHHS picture on Petfinder.com. First my new dad came down to check me out. My mom-to-be wanted a playful dog with a good personality. After my dad saw me, he called Mom to tell her that I was loaded with personality. So Mom and my human sister came down the next day to check me out. As I walked to the meet-and-greet room, I picked up a toy along the way and my mom knew that I was the one!

My mom and dad say that I'm a bundle of energy. I am one energetic, fast and athletic dog. I can jump more than 6 feet high! My mom thinks I might enjoy agility stuff and she is going to put some of that gear in the yard when spring comes and see how I like it. We have a big yard -- about 1.5 acres -- but they couldn't let me run around because of my tendency to chase after stuff and not listen, so they put in an electric fence around the whole yard. I didn't like it much at first, but Mom and Dad spent a lot of time preparing me and now I love it because I don't need to be on a leash anymore when I have to go outside. After I do my business I'm allowed to make use of the whole yard and they play fetch, tug of war and soccer with me. It's so much fun.

I can't thank you enough for hooking me up with my family. I get lots of attention, play and kisses. My dad doesn't even mind that I prefer his big comfy chair in the living room -- he shares. Although I weigh about 35 pounds, I think I'm a cat and I try to climb up onto the chair and rest myself along the back of the chair like the cat does. It's funny to watch, but my family appreciates my sense of humor. They think I'm the greatest, most beautiful dog ever! Just look at my pictures and see for yourself.

Thank you for taking such good care of me and helping me find a home. My new parents and sisters thank you too, as they love me very much.

With love and gratitude,
Cleo
