Bu

We were looking for a cat to adopt and found one at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands. The staff and volunteers there were all so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They knew about the animals under their care and pointed us in the right direction to find the perfect pet for us. We had thought we would just call our cat Kitty (like the first cat we ever owned), but some here thought she should have a name that went along with our business so she has the honor of being named Bu (you know, like Alabu!).

We are very pleased that Bu has already made a visit to our vet and received a clean bill of health. That attests to the good care she received at the Humane Society.

Bu has settled right in here and spends most of her time during the day down in the Alabu office napping on Dean's desk and making sure everyone is working. At night, she already knows her job is to cuddle up on Dean's lap and just look happy and peaceful. We are so glad to have found her and make Bu part of our family.
