Bellah

My son Bret and I adopted our precious Bellah a couple of months ago from the Latham PetSmart. Bret had wanted his own cat for a very long time and I had finally decided to go ahead and take the plunge. We did not want a kitten because there are so many older cats that need a good home. We searched the website for the Humane Society and viewed the pictures and profiles of all the cats.

The second Bret read the profile and saw the picture of Bellah he gasped, turned to me and said, "Mom, that's my cat." The next day I went to PetSmart to make sure she was still there, but the adoption hours were over. The next day, we got up and rushed to the store to make sure she was there. I still remember when the wonderful women that worked there asked if we were there to adopt a kitten and we said no, we are here for Bellah. They were so happy.

Bret and Bellah hit it off right from the begining. It was so cute. Bellah is very happy with her "chosen human," as I like to joke with Bret. She follows Bret around the house and if he is not there she meows for him while looking at me as if to say, "Where is my boy?" Bret is very happy that he has his precious princess Bellah and constantly tells her now much he loves her as he is getting kitty kisses from her. He is the luckiest, happiest boy in the world now.
