Batfeets

Hi, friends! It's Batfeets, but you may remember me as Rommel. It's been almost a year since I moved into my forever home and I just wanted to give you an update. My parents adopted me because my mom has cat allergies and I don't make her sneeze (you can see why in the pictures!). When I got home, I was surprised to see I have a brother who has fur. He's another exotic breed, a Devon Rex named Melon. It took a few days for me to settle in but it wasn't long before I was cuddling up and playing with Melon.

Our parents bought us a really cool cat tree with a house on top. We love racing up that thing. Most days I spend sitting in the window, basking in the sunshine. I can't get enough of that heat.

Speaking of heat, my parents didn't want me to be cold, so they got me a rather extensive wardrobe. I share a closet with my Dad and I think I may have just as many shirts in there as he does.

I am spoiled rotten. Most nights I crawl in bed with my parents and sleep under the covers with my head on the pillow like a human. The only thing I don't like is my bath time. Since I have no fur and I have special skin, I have to get bathed frequently. I tolerate it but only because I know I can usually shake down my parents for some delicious treats after I'm dry. I love Pounce treats.

I've sent a few photos of myself to let you see how I'm progressing. My mom says I'm a handsome boy, but I have a hard time keeping my eyes open when she takes my picture.

Anyway, I wanted to thank you all for taking such excellent care of me. My parents were so impressed with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society that just before Christmas, they brought home my sister, a Neapolitan Mastiff named Bella. We all love her a lot, even though she snores terribly at night. Hopefully the other pets at the Humane Society will be as lucky as we were to find loving forever homes.
