Ariel
I adopted Ariel in June of 2007 and this dog has became an irreplaceable part of my family and my life. She is the sweetest and most fun-loving dog I have ever come in contact with and I cannot even begin to explain how much she means to me.
Ariel is just an everything kind of dog -- any activity you can imagine, she just loves to join in on. She is so obedient and well-behvaed and stays by my side on all of our hiking and walking trips, even without a leash on. She picks up on all new tricks and commands so fast, and seems to really enjoy doing and learning new things.
She lives a happy life on our vast country property where she can spend her days going for walks with our family and playing with all the farm animals. She particularly loves watching over the baby ducklings and protecting my pet gerbils from the cats. In the summertime, she willingly spends much time swimming in our pond or lounging in the row boat. However, her favorite activity, by far, is playing fetch with her tennis ball. She could play for hours and never get tired. She will nudge the ball to you with her nose or even push it with her paws. I constantly wake up to a tennis ball next to my face and her waiting patiently on the side of my bed. When I bring her to my work, which sells pet supplies, she always goes straight for the tennis balls and even takes them off the shelf for me to buy for her.
Ariel is such a wonderful dog, and I have so many beautiful and unforgettable memories with her that I cannot even begin to list. She is definitely a perfect match for me. I am so happy to have found her that day to give her a forever home, and for her to give me a best friend.
This summer Ariel and I will be taking a test for her to become a therapy dog, so I can share with others the happiness and love she radiates.
