Apollo

It has now been four months and Apollo is doing wonderfully. After being so shy and untrusting of humans, he has become a cat that LOVES to be PETTED! Yes, that's right, Apollo loves to be petted. That feral cat that lived in the walls of a hoarding situation is now a full-blown HOUSE CAT! He is curious of the outdoors and I'm sure he would like to join the other two rescues outside on the 80 acres to play and hunt mice.

It was four months to the day that Apollo just decided he wanted to be petted. I feed the cats on the stairs and he was sitting by his bowl making little cooing noises to me. It was adorable. I reached up to pet him and he liked it and walked away, then came right back to lean his head into my hand and get a good scratching. He has let me pet him several times since then and just acts like a normal kitty. He has become very attached to the other older male cat I adopted from Mohawk Hudson back in August of 2014 and they have become best buddies. Thank you again for saving Apollo and Bandit!
