Honor a Love that Lasts Forever
For more than 135 years, the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society has celebrated the extraordinary bond between people and their pets. That bond lives on in our peaceful pet cemetery, established in 1948, and in the Memorial Walkway leading to our serene St. Francis Garden.
While we are not currently accepting burials in the cemetery, we are committed to preserving and restoring this special place for generations to come. The Memorial Walkway is an important part of that restoration, offering families a lasting way to celebrate the animals who forever changed their lives.
Whether your companion greeted you with a wagging tail, a gentle purr, or unconditional love, you can honor their memory with a personalized engraved paver. Each paver becomes a permanent tribute to a cherished friend while helping provide shelter, medical care, and second chances for animals who need us today.
Ordering & Installation
Memorial pavers are engraved once each year, with orders typically processed in late June. After installation, everyone who has purchased a paver is invited to a special dedication ceremony held each September. Once the date is finalized, you will receive an email invitation with all the details.

Purchase a personalized memorial paver for $150. Each paver may include up to 3 lines of text (20 characters per line, or 15 characters per line if you opt to include one of the many available clip art options).
